Big news this last week…
Josh is potty trained! I did a very intense 2 days of Potty Boot Camp (http://thepottybootcamp.com/) with Luke & Josh early this last week. Josh got it and now regularly takes us to the potty when he needs to go. Luke, on the other hand, is still a little fearful of “letting it go” into a potty…so I gave it a rest with him and he enjoys watching brothers go and I have a feeling he’ll be soon to follow. He is already getting more comfortable around the potty. It feels pretty wonderful to have 2 out of 3 potty trained boys and will definitely start saving us $$ in the diaper arena! I also started using some reusable diapers with the boys (Kurtis & Josh only for naps & nighttime), again in hopes of saving $$ and it has been a good transition. We got Kushies Ultra reusable diapers from WalMart and we have been VERY pleased with them. They are very highly rated and I definitely recommend them.

Look at this beautiful girl… Her name is Cocoa. She is around a year old and we are seriously considering adopting her. I even sat down and typed up a “Letter from Santa” for Kurtis to come in the mail in the next couple days saying he had a special present for Kurtis this year that he just couldn’t wait to give to him.
I just had to share briefly about this beautiful dog – whether we end up adopting her or not. We would appreciate a simple prayer as we consider adding her to our household.

Kayli, you are amazing! The boys are potty trained already. They’re not even two! I feel like a total failure now. Hopefully I’ll have enough energy to work with Theya soon. Good Job!
Hi! I came across your blog on the potty boot camp website and was wondering if you could offer an helpful tips. My son will be 4 on March 30th and we have made several attempts to potty train him. He goes to Day Care during the week and even their attempts have not worked. In the beginning I was ok w/giving him some time and just thinking he will let me know when he;s ready but now that he will be turning 4, I’m afraid I’ve somehow missed the “window” and worry if he’ll ever be potty trained?
We started again this week and the teachers reported that he was going during the day…well we only learned mid-week that he was not going as they had suspected but rather holding his urine in for 9 hours!!!! That’s just beyond me!
Anyways any tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated as I’m about to go crazy here! lol
Thanks,
Jen
